The Comedy Store (Formerly Ciro’s)

The building was originally built in the 1920s and served as a speakeasy during Prohibition. It was later turned into a nightclub called Ciro’s, which was a popular hangout for Hollywood’s elite in the 1940s… including the mob, which had a heavy influence on Hollywood at the time.
