Q: Why should I choose Hollywood Bus Tours?

A: With Hollywood Bus Tours, you are not on a huge bus but on a smaller, private 15-passenger open-top bus. This allows you to converse with our tour guide and ask questions about the sights Los Angeles has to offer.

Q: How do I redeem my ticket?

A: After your transaction is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. Please present it to Hollywood Bus Tours staff member to redeem and board your vehicle. Bring your reservation number and a photo ID to the tour pick-up location.

Q: Where do the tours start from & finish?

A: Our tours start & finish at 6609 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028.

Q: How long is the tour?

A: The tour is scheduled for 2 hours. How long it takes mostly depends on traffic, but our objective is to have you back in no more than 2 hours. Traffic can be heavy on some parts of the tour, so on a rare occasion, the tour may go over 2 hours.

Q. Can we bring snacks & drinks on the bus?

A. Yes, feel free to bring snacks and drinks but please be sure to remove all garbage from the bus at the end of the tour.

Q: Do we get out of the van at any time?

A: We exit the van for 10 minutes at The Beverley Hills Sign for pictures. The rest of the tour you will remain in the van.

Q: Are there restrooms on the bus?

A: No, there are no bathrooms on the bus. Restrooms are available at the World Famous Carney’s where the tour meets. If you need to use the restroom, please go before you board the bus.

Q. Do I need a booster or car seat for my child?

A. Yes, According to California State Law, children must be seated in the rear seat of a vehicle in an appropriate car seat or booster seat until they are 8 years old or 4’9″ tall. Children must remain in a rear-facing car seat until they weigh 40 pounds or more or are at least 40 inches tall. You must provide the car or booster seat. You can rent one here.

Q: Do we have a guide?

A: Yes, just sit back and relax in our open-top buses. We provide the most comprehensive narrated tour.

Q. Can you pick up from my hotel/location?

A. We do not offer any hotel pick up or drop-off services. Guests are solely responsible for transportation to and from our meeting point.

Q: Is there parking?

A: Yes, parking is at 1716 Whitley Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90028.

Q: What if it rains?

A: Tours may be canceled at short notice. If a tour is canceled, paid guests will have the opportunity to either reschedule for the next available date/tour (subject to availability) or receive a full refund.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: 24 hours notice is required, however, you may change the dates of your reservation up to 4:00 pm the day before with no penalty.

Q: Where do we pay and what do you accept?

A: We accept all major credit cards as well as cash when you pay at our meeting point. Credit cards only when you book online.

Q: How far in advance must we reserve?

A: As soon as your plans are definite but all customers are recommended to make a confirmed reservation at least 24-hours in advance to guarantee a seat (likely to sell out).

Q: What if I purchased my tickets from a third-party vendor?

A: Tickets purchased from third-party vendor(s) must call for reservation at least 24-hours in advance to guarantee a seat.

Q: Is it secure to enter my credit card number?

A: Hollywood Bus Tours uses the latest encryption technology to ensure maximum security when you pay online. Powered by FareHarbor.

Q: Do you use my personal information?

A: As we are aware of your privacy, the information you give, including your email address, is used only for the process of your reservation and won’t be sold or used for any other purpose.

Q: What if I need to make changes or updates?

A: If you have already made a reservation and need to make changes or updates, please call us in advance at (213) 986-7688‬.

Q. Is gratuity included in the price?

A. Gratuity is not included in the ticket price but are greatly appreciated by the drivers. Our drivers give you information and entertainment along with a safe journey. A small gratuity at the end of the tour is a nice way to say “thanks”.
